Coronavirus (COVID-19) Virus Concerns

MSE Environmental is concerned about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) worldwide pandemic. The safety of families, loved ones, employees and businesses are crucial and we want to see this pandemic to come to an end. By following the CDC guidelines for Coronavirus (COVID-19) and minimizing secondary transmission of biological matter on surfaces, we can defeat this virus from spreading.

What is Coronavirus?

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus.

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) virus spreads primarily through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose when an infected person coughs or sneezes, so it’s important that you also practice respiratory etiquette and thoroughly clean high touch surfaces (for example, by coughing into a flexed elbow).

MSE Environmental provides environmental consulting guidance for the disinfection and testing of surfaces affected by a secondary transmission of biological matter within indoor environments.

  • Guidance for clients needing decontamination and disinfection processes for biological matter including viruses, respiratory droplets, blood, stool, or body fluids, saliva, sputum, nasal mucus, vomit and urine

  • Assess environments for cleanliness of high touch points areas and guidance on disinfection methodologies for surface contaminants

  • Pre-Work Project Evaluation testing for surface contaminants

  • Remediation decontamination protocols and scopes of work for disinfecting facilities with biological surface contaminants

  • Post-Work Project Evaluation & ATP post-testing of biological matter for cleanliness of surface contaminants

Note: ATP meters do not detect Coronavirus (COVID-19) or viral contaminants. They are a tool to measure adenosine triphosphate (ATP). This methodology is very useful for on-site results of measuring the cleanliness of biological contaminants.
